Job Description

Primary duties of the Contract Administrator position are to provide contracts support for multiple DOD and commercial contracts. Contract Administrator position participates in and/or conducts front-end strategic assessment of business pursuits, proposal preparation, contract/subcontract negotiation, contract/subcontract administration, and customer/supplier contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Prepares requests for bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, analyzes and evaluates supplier proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to contracts/subcontracts. Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and means to mitigate contractual risks; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

• Typical Minimum Experience and Education: 6 Years, with related Bachelors degree.
• Minimum of 6 years previous DoD Contracts experience
• Experience in MS Office and SAP
• In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS required
• Must have good written and oral communication skills

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
