Job Description

Oil & Gas firm seeks specialist who can identify, quantify and communicate methodologies to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in oil and gas production facilities in a cost effective manner. The role includes tracking and documenting company emissions as well as the tangible emissions reductions it makes to a standard appropriate for both internal and external audit. The employee is expected to make a substantial contribution to both the company’s external emissions reporting efforts, and to the internal analysis of energy usage and efficiency of company facilities. Position based in Houston, some travel required. Bachelor Degree in science or engineering, Graduate work a plus. A good working knowledge of principles of chemistry, physics and mathematics as it pertains to quantification of emissions especially from combustion of hydrocarbons is expected. Experience using the API-Sangea program is a plus.
