Job Description: Responsible for plant operation and maintenance. Help establish plant policies and
procedures. Responsible for plant production goals. Help establish and maintain community relations. Foster
a well-trained and motivated staff.
• Helps supervise employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the
organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting in interviewing, hiring
and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance;
rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Management of plant assets (operating costs, preventive maintenance programs, equipment
utilization, transportation and logistics, etc.).
• Development of plant processes/systems to ensure effective production.
• Use of benchmarking and best practices to implement plant improvements.
• Leadership of plant quality control and quality assurance programs.
• Leadership of EH&S and related compliance programs.
• Ability to perform all duties within the facility.
Job Requirements:
• College preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in managing a plant facility preferred.
• Previous fuels or asphalt terminal experience preferred.
• Lifting requirement of up to 50 pounds.
• Strenuous physical activity.
• Elevated-heights work.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment. Must be willing to take and pass the following preemployment
tests: Drug Screen, Physical, Background Check.
